Snoop Dogg shows his passion for the metaverse
Snoop Doggy Dogg, the famous rapper and entrepreneur, has already expressed his passion for the metaverse and cryptoassets on numerous occasions. However, nothing comparable to what he has done with the release of his latest single 'House I Built'. The Death Row Records artist has carried out a true declaration of love to this technology by building what he has dubbed as 'Snoopverse'.
"How much is my 'sandbox' token worth?"
As soon as the video begins, a phone call begins in which Dogg asks a man named Nick about the performance of his cryptocurrency. "Hey, Nick, how much is my 'sandbox' worth right now?" the rapper says. "Your token, your 'sandbox' token?" they reply on the other end of the phone.
"$4.8 million," Nick concludes. "So you're at 4.8 million?" the singer asks, concluding by saying "cash." However, it seems that Snoop Dogg is not too motivated by the huge figure his partner has told him, so he ends up asking for the initial value of his token: "$300,000" says the other voice.
Just at that moment, the cubist image that forms the stage is suddenly changed by a drawing of the rapper sitting on a throne with a dog face, which could perfectly be a Snoop Dogg NFT.
Subsequently, the artist shows his entire 'metaversal' mansion to later go on a virtual stage where he starts a performance.
Meanwhile, reality shows Snoop Dogg controlling his character in the 'Snoopverse', and showing all his digital assets acquired in the virtual world.
On the other hand, those who want to get to know the entire digital universe created by the rapper can do so. They will only need $2,000 to pay for the early access pass.
